The 365 day trial is easy enough to offer but when their forever warranty only really covers the looks of the product it’s pointless. It’s disgusting that NectarSleep can sell a product that after only a short period of time needs replacing, not only for the financial cost to their customers but also the environmental effects of recycling. That fact is the mattress after only 2 years of use is not fit for purpose and needs to be replaced. I received an email from NectarSleep explaining that the report found nothing wrong with the mattress so no further action would be carried out. There were no realistic tests carried out to asses the problems that were reported. There were no substantial pressure tests carried out and it was over in a matter of minutes. The cover was removed, this confirmed that the base was totally adequate and that there were signs that the mattress had been rotated correctly. The inspection lasted minutes, where the only real checks were of the base making sure it was correct and that the mattress wasn’t visibly damaged. I contacted NectarSleep and explained the problem and was hopeful when they arranged for someone from Homeserve to come out and check the mattress. Eventually it got to a point that we were finding it hard to sleep without discomfort and also causing back pain. However after only 16-18 months of use we started to notice that the compression of the mattress was getting deeper and making it very uncomfortable.
